Peter has sent us a heartfelt thank you message. Peter has been sponsored by supporters of Global Challenge to continue his studies into the senior 5 and 6 years in education in Uganda.
We are delighted to have heard from Robert Oluka, the Head teacher and teacher of Commerce (a wide subject, focusing on areas including economics, accounting, finance, human resource management, entrepreneurship and supply chain management) at Crossroads Secondary School, informing us of some of the great education occurring at the school.
The beginning of March 2024, saw the celebration of International Women’s Day. The theme of the day was “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”.
Dexter has finished his walking challenge for Global Challenge! He set out to achieve long walks around his hometown during the month of March.
It is great to announce some exciting developments from the young people at Queens Road Baptist Church who were each given £1 to “grow” over the Lent period.
Dexter will be doing a long walk for the next 4 weeks in hope that people
will donate and sponsor him.
Our Special needs Coordinator, Billy Outeke has sent us a SWOT ANALYSIS FOR GC (Global Challenge) – SPECIAL NEEDS PROJECT for the period January 2022 to December 2023.
Leading up to Easter 2024, nearly 40 youngsters from the Junior Deeper Group (children aged 7- 11 years old) and the Youth Group (school year 6 and above) at Queens Road Baptist Church in Broadstairs, Kent, will be doing the “Grow Your £1.00 Challenge”.
