Enock starts his “200km run in 30 days” Challenge

Ahead of schedule, thanks to an AMAZING response to his challenge, Enock has started his run! His video diary can be found on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/100593065066435/posts/316393593486380/

Enock began his very first run in Broadstairs, Kent on a rainy Sunday morning (20th June 2021). Undeterred by the weather, Enock set off and made a pit stop outside Queens Road Baptist Church. He ran along the coast to the Viking Ship at Pegwell Bay, persuading a passer-by to video this stage of his run! Fantastic! The weather cheered up along the route but thankfully stayed cool, aiding Enock in his running, describing the rain drops dropping on his face as helping him to keep going. Enock said he stayed focussed and finished his run back at Katy’s house where he managed to clock up 21 kilometres, already having completed a tenth of the way! He admitted that he didn’t expect to go that far on his first run. Albert the dachshund was excited to see him back! Enock thanks everyone for donating, stressing that every single pound counts. Enock states “Only one pound is 4000 Ugandan shillings, that can make a meal for a single family for the day.”

We can’t wait to hear about the next step of his journey to complete 200km in 30 days.

£451.25 including gift aid raised so far (22 June 2021), 76% of target!!!

Well done Enock…29 days left!
