Poultry Project

How awesome is this? As you know, Global Challenge runs a sustainable livestock project. We were delighted to have recently received a donation from one of our younger, primary school age supporters. This young supporter had saved half of her pocket money to buy a chicken for a Special Needs family in Uganda. Her generous parents matched the amount she had raised, so another chicken could be purchased. The chickens were gifted to a young boy called Jonathan. The pair of chickens have enabled him to start a poultry project that will enable him to acquire books and other materials for school, to help in his education. Jonathan is grateful to the family who blessed him with these chickens and would love to meet them one day.
