Event – Festival of Music
Don’t miss our ‘Last Night of the Proms’ event!
On Saturday August 19th we have arranged for the Invicta Winds orchestra to perform a ‘Last Night of the Proms’ festival of music at Queens Road Baptist Church in Broadstairs.
The orchestra draws over 30 musicians from Kent and London who give concerts a few times a year in churches, for charity.
Their repertoire will include a Tuba concerto with soloist David Carter, ‘last night’ favourites to sing along to and music from ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
Tickets available on the door are just £7.00 including light refreshments. Children under 16 come free.
Wine will be available for a donation.
The event starts at 7.30pm in the church auditorium.
