Grow Your £1.00

It is great to announce some exciting developments from the young people at Queens Road Baptist Church who were each given £1 to “grow” over the Lent period. Any profits made are to be donated to Global Challenge.

Filling a jar with £1 worth of jelly beans and charging your friends 20p a time to guess how many beans are in the jar is one idea that is being tried to “Grow Your £1.00”. In fact, Noah has his own fundraising page! Four lads have put their pounds together to organise and run a Bake Sale at their local cub scout group, helping to raise money for both Global Challenge and their cub scout group.

£101 was raised by this trio of youngsters who decide to amalgamate their pounds to provide another cake stall. There are rumours that another youngster is planning a barn dance! Watch this space for more updates!
