QRBC Film Night- Finished
On Friday 15th January a ‘Supper and Film Night’ was held at Queen’s Road Baptist Church, Broadstairs (map),
The film screened was “Saving Mr. Banks“, the critically acclaimed masterpiece from Tom Hanks about the life of P.L. Travers and her turbulent dealings with Walt Disney during the adaptation of her books about Mary Poppins.
Tickets for the film were free.
Donations for Global Challenge were very much welcomed on the night, and total moneys raised for our projects in Uganda were an amazing £1026
Thank you to everyone who came for making the evening such a success. It was great fun and everyone enjoyed themselves.
