Good News!

Ruth graduated as a social worker in December! She is the daughter of Abraham Okurut, Global Challenge’s local representative and project coordinator in Soroti. Ruth holds both a Diploma and Bachelors Degree.

Ruth writes: “I am a social worker.
I did a bachelor in social work and social administration.
I am able to work with communities, schools, children, women, men, chronically ill, mentally ill, groups, individuals, drug addicts or any other addiction, prisons, traumatised clients, and so on”

Ruth is able to do counselling, both one on one and group counselling, advocacy and policy making amongst other things.

Abraham writes “Pray with my daughter, Ruth.  She graduated in December last year and is now on a job search.  She would like to put her skills to use in helping vulnerable people/communities.”
