Prayer Warrior

Just before Christmas 2022, we heard of the passing of one of the oldest members of Rock View Baptist Church in Uganda. A Muslim and wife of a witch doctor, our colleagues in Uganda, Richard and Abraham, witnessed to Stella, and she became one of the founding members of Rock View Baptist Church.

Trustee Anne remembers Mama Stella…”Stella used to cook lunches for the visiting British team at her home near Rock View Baptist Church and we all marvelled at the size of the pots and the amount of food she produced! I will never forget her prayer as we were about to return from our visit at the time of the 9 11 attacks in America. Locals had hardly ever seen a plane in the sky, let alone travelled in one, but her faith in requesting God’s intervention in the cockpit left the pilot with no alternative but to get us home safely!”
