Baptism in a Swimming Pool!
It was so encouraging to hear that one of the first beneficiaries of the Special Needs Project was baptised before Christmas 2022. We met Barbra, in 2007, after Global Challenge had procured a wheelchair for her. Our local representative and Project Coordinator in Uganda, Pastor Abraham, says Barbra is “very committed to Christ and never wants to miss church!”. It’s such a privilege to see the fruits of seed sown.
Over 20 young people from the churches in Soroti, including Barbra, were baptised on 11th December 2022. The baptism took place in the swimming pool of a new hotel in town. Safer water than the river or water tank used in the past!
