Students Aiming High
The current S4 (Standard 4) year group at Crossroads School are about to do their National Exams. We hope they reach their potential and do really well! Crossroads school educates up to S4 and then students can go on to further education at other learning institutions.
Each year, Global Challenge aim to support one or two students who have done well in their exams to continue their education elsewhere. Joshua, Peter and Paul all did exceptionally well in their S4 National Exams last year. Abraham, our Coordinator in Sorority suggested we might want to support them for the final two years of their education. Information about the boys was put in the Queens Road Baptist Church (QRBC) Newsletter (The Vine). A couple read the article whilst visiting the Gap Community Café at the Gap Project at QRBC where Global Challenge is based, and astonishingly offered to support Peter and Paul! Global Challenge are able to support Joshua.
Joshua is now studying History, Entrepreneurship and Finance/ICT. He is interested in pursuing either Industrial Art or Teaching.
Paul and Peter are both studying Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Paul is interested in going into Space Engineering while Peter is interested in becoming a Civil Engineer.
