Wi-Fi installed
Crossroads School has just had Wi-Fi installed which means, for the first time, internet is now available on the school site. Already the Wi-Fi has improved communication between the Head, his staff and the UK partners at Global Challenge. A desktop and laptop are to be bought so that teachers can prepare lessons and send their work to the newly acquired printer/scanner. Funds are still needed and being raised to provide additional computers for the now compulsory IT (information technology) curriculum in Uganda. A specialist IT teacher will also need to be employed soon.
May we ask you to remember the Head teacher, Robert, in your prayers? He is waiting for surgery on his jaw.
