Following Covid, the work of the pastors in Soroti has increased tremendously, and they are asking for our prayers.
Pastor Isaac is now Minister of Nakatunya IDP.
In 2003 many IDPs (Internally Displaced People), who had fled to the relative safety of Soroti, were gathered under a glorious fire tree in Nakatunya.

Billy is working on carrying out two research projects:
‘’IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF GLOBAL CHALLENGE/SPECIAL NEEDS PROJECT ON THE COMMUNITIES AROUND SOROTI DISTRICT”
and
‘’PERCEPTION OF THE COMMUNITIES IN SOROTI DISTRICT ON CHILD SAFETY’’
These two research topics will help steer a clear way forward as the Special Needs Project’s activities grow, to improve family livelihoods and child safety, which are key areas of the vision of Global Challenge.
Crossroads School is very proud to have been selected for a national programme which encourages students to take more care of the environment.
Travelling round the district of Soroti is not always a simple task. Unmade roads, dirt tracks and jungle vegetation as well as the huge distances between dwellings, all need specialist transport.
Saturday, April 23rd saw the return of the Invicta Wind Orchestra for a St. George’s day Concert. The concert was held at Queens Road Baptist Church in Broadstairs.
Billy Outeke, our Special Needs local representative in Uganda, has been keeping us in touch with the children with special needs, despite the challenges the global pandemic has thrust upon us all!
