Empowering Girls to be Self-Dependent

The pupils at Crossroads Secondary School have been using their sewing skills to make reusable sanitary pads. The lack of affordable sanitary products is a very common challenge and can lead to school absenteeism, a key barrier to academic performance, and can even lead to school dropout! This is an amazing project to empower girls to be self-dependent and to be able to support one another.
