Laptops & Projector for Crossroads

We have been able to transfer funds to our partners in Uganda to purchase 10 new laptops and a projector. Money raised at our Christmas Cantate Concert and our Invicta Wind Orchestra Concert, plus a private donation, was sent to Crossroads Secondary School so that they could choose and buy the equipment they needed locally. The laptops are to be used for research purposes with the projector to aid in teaching the large classes. The pupils will learn how to use the equipment successfully as well as learn how to take care of them. Eventually, it is hoped the school will be able to offer ICT. As one teacher says “They will go a long way to help the teaching and learning process.”
