Katy is our newest trustee in the UK and has not visited our partners in Uganda before. This August 2023, Katy, two of her gorgeous children, Tim and Joanna, and family friend, Enock, are currently visiting Soroti!
Students in Senior One class and Senior Two class went to Kiganadani market for a geography field study. The group facilitator took the learners through the main objectives of their study before the students commenced their studies of the market.

“The children and young people at Cherry Tree Special School in Margate had raised money at their school fair and were keen to be directly involved in Global Challenge’s special needs project.
We have been able to transfer funds to our partners in Uganda to purchase 10 new laptops and a projector. Money raised at our Christmas Cantate Concert and our Invicta Wind Orchestra Concert, plus a private donation, was sent to Crossroads Secondary School so that they could choose and buy the equipment they needed locally.
Students at Crossroads Secondary School have been busy taking external mock exams. The photos show the last set of students to take their Physics practical exam.
Wednesday 5th July 2023 saw Crossroads Secondary School hosting a team of visitors who offered a counselling service to the students on mental and moral health.
